Scissor grip drum lifter
This scissor grip drum lifter can be used with an overhead hoist or the forks of a fork truck.
What is it for?
Ideal for lowering drums into a bunded area e.g. over a wall, into a tank or any otherwise inaccessible area.
This unit can handle drums from 550mm to 620mm and lift vertically positioned empty and full drums up to 500kgs in weight. It's suitable for remote use - the driver does not need to handle the unit or drum.
The heavier the load the tighter the grip. Raising and lowering the unit operates the catch, alternatively engaging or releasing drum.
